ELABORATE VINTAGE BOHEMIAN GARNET NECKLACE
This
is an amazing vintage garnet necklace, part
of old new stock owned by a
German garnet dealer. It is unsold and unworn
and in pristine condition.
This beautiful necklace features 28 rose cut
garnets surrounding four oval
cabochon garnets, all in the deep port wine
coloring of Bohemian stones.
From the oval ensemble hang three pear shaped
cabochon drops.
Glowing beauty that will be an instant heirloom.Stones
set in what’s known as Tombak, or garnet
gold, an
alloy similar to Pinchbeck with a deep rose
gold wash.
The only signs of age are natural patina on
reverse.
4 cabochon Stones are 11mm
Center dangle is 14mm long
Necklace Measures 16 7/8" long
Centerpiece is 2" length and 1 5/8"
